Fat Gat is not slowing down!

Gatlin just had his 6 month check-up on Thursday and he weighed 21 lbs (95th percentile), was 28 inches long (93rd percentile), and his head is 18 inches around (93rd percentile)! He is huge! Javin is 29 lbs and 34 1/2 inches and he's 2! Makes for a serious workout when my baby wants to be held!

Basement

The basement is really open, with only one bedroom and bathroom. It's so nice to have open space for Javin to run! We really need to paint that workout room! Pink is not too motivating!

Bedrooms

Our bedroom has a slider to the backyard! Someday we hope it will lead us to a hot tub! Gatlin's room has green trim and celing with a sports theme. Javin's room has blue trim and ceiling with a transportation theme! I wanted something that would grow with them since I hate to paint and don't want to redo their rooms a lot!

Our house...sorry it took so long!

This is our living room and kitchen! The fireplace used to be solid black! It's got 20 foot tall ceilings so I painted them blue to make it feel cozier!

Freakin' Mine

Jav was playing with his toys after church on Sunday and he kept saying, "That's freakin' mine!" Over and over, he was saying it! We told him that we don't say "freakin!" Well, the other day we were playing and he said, "That's freakin' my blanket!" I asked him, "Where did you learn that word?" He said, "In the garage!" He had been helping Brandon in the garage on Monday. SO I asked' "Did daddy say that?" "Yep!" Once again I told him that we don't say that word and that we would tell daddy not to say it either. So when Brandon got home, the first thing that Javin said was, "no freakin!" Hilarious! Brandon had no idea he said 'freakin' so much and he has never said, "Freakin' mine," but Jav's good with words and can use any word that he has heard once correctly in a sentence!

Please don't think little of my husband...he has so few faults!

New Year!

Grandpa Mic, Grandma Paula, Devin, and JD came to visit us in Spokane after Christmas! We had a great time! It was nice to have space for everyone! Unfortunately, the froze the first night they were here! We went went mini golfing, played games,went to Chuck E Cheese, and put them to work! We got my curtains hung, trim painted, outlets put in the garage! Thanks so much for the help! The boys got a wagon for Christmas and love it! Jav also liked to pretend Uncle JD was a Mr. Potato Head and liked to play in his tent with Uncle Devin! We had a great time! Brandon and I got called to team teach Gospel Doctrine in our new ward! We are so excited!

Christmas in Montana!

We spent a week in Montana for Christmas! It was so much fun! We were all spoiled rottten! We ate great food and had a great time hanging out! Thanks mom and dad! Our neighbor dressed up as Santa the night before we left and brought Javin a stuffed Gonzaga bulldog and Gatlin a teddy bear! Javin loved it! Javin has the words to "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" memorized! He can tell us who gave him every present! We came home to no furnace...Merry Christmas to us! IT was a great holiday though!
